TANZANIA’S DEPUTY MINISTER FOR FINANCE DR.ASHATU KIJAJI TO CHAIR CRUCIAL FINANCIAL CONFERENCE IN ADDIS ABABA

The Deputy Minister who arrived in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa this morning is expected to chair the opening session of the conference with the theme” Towards an Integrated and Coherent Approach to Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals S DGs”.

The Ministers’ conference was preceded by a two days ninth Joint Annual Meetings of the African Union Specialized Technical Committee on Finance , Monetary Affairs, Economic planning and Integration.

The Deputy Minister for Finance Dr.Ashatu Kijaji in discussion with The Deputy Executive Secretary for Economic Commission for Africa(ECA) Mr.Abdallah Hamdok and The Permanent Representative of Tanzania to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and Ambassador of Tanzania to Ethiopia H.E. Naimi Hamza Aziz at ECA Headquarters in Addis Ababa Ethiopia this evening.
